About the Artist

I’m a watercolor artist and calligrapher based in West Palm Beach, Florida, originally from Texas. My work brings together the precision of calligraphy with the movement and depth of watercolor. While these are my primary mediums, I’ve explored many others over the years—pencil and charcoal, graphic design, even hand-sewn leatherwork. Different materials, same obsession with detail, and each has shaped the way I approach texture, composition, and form.

I’m a member of the Florida Watercolor Society and the Palm Beach Watercolor Society, and my work has been shown in Texas, Georgia, and Florida.

The name Nectar & Moss is a nod to my grandparents and my Cajun roots. Nectar comes from my grandma’s love of hummingbirds, and Moss is a reference to Louisiana, where my family’s history runs deep. Cajun culture carries a strong sense of place and connection, with a rich history and its own language, even as it fades. I especially enjoy projects that reference Louisiana and Cajun culture, whether through visual elements or lettering.

No matter the medium, I’m drawn to the details that make each piece feel intentional and distinct.
